Our year of highlights and achievements

December invites reflection and a chance to honor the year’s milestones, growth, and challenges. And if you’re like me, you’re asking: Where did 2025 go?

As we mentally rewind the months, we’re reminded how this year has brought its share of hurdles that no one could have foreseen. And yet, through it all, our community has shown incredible strength and generosity.

Those who have been hit the hardest are often the very organizations that rely on support when they need it most. Our mission has always been to help frontline nonprofit organizations continue to make a real difference in the lives of those they serve.

When those nonprofits face a crisis or an unexpected funding shortfall, we are often the lifeline that ensures they can continue their essential work. From economic uncertainty to shifts in community needs, nonprofits have had to adapt in ways that many weren’t prepared for. Yet, the spirit of resilience has been nothing short of inspiring.

Together with your support, we’re able to step in when it helps the most, providing the resources necessary to keep doors open and programs thriving.

Beyond Funding: Building Capacity for the Future

Alongside direct funding, we are committed to offering more than a check. We’ve made progress in foundation programming that strengthens nonprofits and builds long-term sustainability. This year, that included:

  • Improvements to our building and shared spaces to better serve nonprofits and community partners.
  • Expanded educational opportunities through Munch n Learns, Nonprofit Essentials, and coming soon—AI After Dark in partnership with Mighty Manatee IT.
  • Diversified giving options with Field of Interest Funds, making it easier for everyone to make a difference—even with smaller gifts.
  • Data collection initiatives to make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Community collaborations with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Charities Across South Lake, Nonprofit ThinkTank, and South Lake Business Leaders to utilize our building for shared impact.
  • Honoring heroes by working with veterans and first responders to establish a memorial in Clermont.
  • Historic endowment milestone: surpassing $10 million for the first time in our 30-year history.
  • Natural Disaster Fund growth: increased by 200% to ensure a rapid response when our community needs it most.
  • Two new scholarships were launched this year to support future leaders looking to gain certification and get into the workforce.
  • Public recognition: over 20 local media mentions and acknowledgment for our Nonprofit Think Tank partnership.
  • Women’s Giving Alliance engagement: more than 12 events hosted to amplify collective impact.
  • Community presence: impactful participation in events like Pups in the Park, Taste of South Lake, Light Up Clermont, Nonprofit Showcase, and How to College.

These efforts reflect our commitment to offering a true partnership with mutual goals—empowering nonprofits to thrive today and prepare for tomorrow.

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on this year’s work, we are reminded of the power of coming together, even in challenging times. Thank you for being an essential part of this journey. We are deeply grateful for your continued support and look forward to achieving even greater things together in the year ahead.

Wishing you and your family a season filled with peace, joy, and the confidence that your gifts make a lasting difference.
