Grant Information

The collaborative efforts of the Women’s Giving Alliance have not only made a significant impact for women and children within our community but have also set a remarkable standard for philanthropy. It is with great enthusiasm that the WGA announces our annual grant cycle, seeking partnership with local non-profits. Read more about our grant cycle below.

Current WGA Minimum Requirement Guidelines for Applicants

• Serve Women and Children in the South Lake area

• Have 3 Years of program data

• Are recognized as a 501 (c)(3) organization by the IRS

• Have the ability to report program and financial information back to the WGA

WGA Does Not Fund the Following:

  • Endowments
  • Fundraising expenses, sponsorships, or thrift stores
  • Infrastructure improvements (including but not limited to land/building that is not owned by the applicant)
  • Activities that relate to lobbying or advocacy or litigation related expenses
  • Individuals
  • Foreign based organizations
  • Political or trade associations
  • Support for religious organizations for religious purposes
  • Medical or scientific research
  • Organizations that discriminate or exclude participants the basis of race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability or marital status

• Application opens: April 26, 2024 to June 7, 2024.

• Grant Application Training Session: Tuesday, April 16th at 2:00pm

• Evaluations submitted for review: July

• Grant committee meets to make recommendations: August

• Awards announced: September
