Marketing expert fills unique position on the Foundation Board of Directors
Building a dynamic and effective board requires precision, insight and intention. According to Executive Director Laura Michalski, it’s important to fill slots with diverse perspectives and professional backgrounds. “We’ve worked hard to recruit board members who represent business, service, health, finance, and nonprofit. Now, with the addition of Jill Ganley, we can include a marketing specialist. She rounds out a current strong board and is ready to roll up her sleeves to serve the Foundation.”
Jill Ganley has an innate passion for relationship building within the constructs of strategic marketing and media strategy. A Clermont-based consultant, Ganley emphasizes building long-term, relational partnerships rather than focusing solely on short-term, transactional outcomes. Her business, Everly Marketing & Events, has been nominated for “Best Marketing Service” in the Best of South Lake Chamber Awards.
“Jill brings an understanding of customers, clients, and teams to nurture engagement and loyalty,” said Michalski. “Her portfolio includes extensive experience in sales, event planning, brand activation, social media and corporate sponsorships. We’re excited to have Jill’s expertise and input on our communications and marketing initiatives.”
“It’s an honor to join the Board of the Community Foundation of South Lake, an organization deeply committed to creating lasting impact through intentional giving and strategic partnerships. I look forward to using my 25+ years of marketing experience to help elevate the Foundation’s mission—connecting resources, empowering donors, and supporting the nonprofits that strengthen our community,” said Ganley.
“I joined the board because I believe in the power of collaboration and community leadership. The Foundation has helped so many nonprofits, students, and families in South Lake County, and I’m excited to support its continued growth by increasing visibility, donor engagement, and long-term sustainability.”
