We invite WGA members to tour the program at Building Blocks (644 Gadson Street,Groveland) beginning at 9:00 a.m. Seeing their program in action is truly the best way to understand and
appreciate the services Building Blocks provide to adults in the developmental disability community. Around 10:00 a.m., we will head to Lake David Park to enjoy a beautiful spring day outdoors. 

Lake County Teen Sportfishing will be joining us to host a fishing clinic—an activity Building Blocks’ clients enjoyed last year. WGA members are welcome to cast a line and share their fishing skills as well!

For those who prefer other activities, there will also have options like outdoor crafts, basketball, photography, walking around the lake, or simply relaxing and enjoying time together. We’re always open to fun,
creative ideas that support connection and inclusion. 

Lunch Buddies begins at 11:30 a.m., with a catered picnic lunch provided for all clients and guests. Lunch will be provided by Marco’s Pizza. 

We hope WGA will be able to join us at Lake David Park on May 26th for a meaningful and joy-filled day of community connection. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and working together to share a wonderful day together. You can participate in all or part of the day. ​You are encouraged to drive your own vehiclles from Building Blocks to the ​Lake David Park. There is plenty of parking at Lake David Park. 

There is parking at Building Blocks, but you might have to park on the street.
